Tangerine (Citrus riticulata)

This one I LOVE to put in my drinking water, my NingXia Red, and in my smoothies. Chemically it is high in monoterpenes—d limonene and others. Tangerine is not only a wonderfully tasting fruit, but the oil is yummy and a great breath freshener as well. It is considered refreshing and rejuvenating, and its aroma clears the mind and can help eliminate emotional confusion. It is comforting, soothing, and warming—perhaps that’s why it has been used in perfumes, soaps, and as a digestive aid and tonic.
